Personally i dont really mind xillia i found the characters really entertaining especially Gaius and Milla. Xillia 2 also in my opinion has the best combat system of the 3D tales games as spamming is not the best answer to everything and there are so many ways diffrent setups you can make for combos even with the balance problems concerning ludger. Tales of Xillia 2 is set a year after Tales of Xillia, and revolves around Ludger Kresnik, a run-of-the-mill man who lives with his brother and cat, and Elle Marta, a young and dependable girl who Ludger meets by chance.
