So the other day I realized that my Microsoft has stated that Intel RST driver versions 15.5.2.1054 or later are compatible and will remove the block and allow the Windows 10 1903 to proceed. This is the Intel RST driver and therefore unrelated to this ticket (Microsoft NVMe driver stornvme.sys). The RST driver neither supports NVME_PASS_Through nor Ioctl_Storage_Query_Property. If you attempt to upgrade, you’ll receive a message informing you that: “The inbox storage driver iastora.sys doesn’t work on these systems and causes stability problems on Windows.”
